Our Philosophy

At our office, we focus on Minimally-Invasive Dentistry, Cosmetics and Orthodontics. To explain these terms: “Minimally Invasive Dentistry”-- This is the philosophy of while “doing what it takes” to correct a particular dental problem, we believe in preserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible.This means Early Intervention!

For instance, Air Abrasion, Adhesive Dentistry, tooth colored bonded fillings and sealants are all used. In addition to preserving the natural strength and beauty of natural teeth, many of these procedures can be completed with no anesthesia!  Ask us about it!

Cosmetics

In today’s society, it matters“how you look”.  A great smile can be a great confidence-builder and the self assurance of a great first impression can often be a big help in your success.  WE GET IT!  And, so, we can offer you various ways to not only achieve your healthy smile, but to make it a“Wow” smile as well. WHY DOESN’T THE COLOR OF MY CROWN MATCH MY TEETH???---Good question.  Sometimes the eye, for various reasons, doesn’t really “see” the color of the surrounding teeth….resulting in a crown or bridge that  “just doesn’t look right”…

We have for the past 10+ years utelized the Shade-Vision Computer Color  Matching System to help us with the previously purely subjective method…(you know, “looks good to me..how ‘bout you?”) of matching shades for crowns and bridges.  We are the only practice in Gaffney that offers this computer-technology, by the way!!  Because of this, we are able to give your crowns and bridges that are color-wise “dead-ringers” , and, therefore, helping to make your investment  in crowns or bridges, one that looks like “it grew there”!!  Check out our B(efore) and A(fter) pix!!  We have dozens more in our office for you to see, as well!

Orthodontics - Moving Teeth

No matter how adept one is at bonding, crowns, bridges, etc., sometimes to get the“Wow” result you are looking for, you just HAVE to move teeth!  We have included Orthodontics in the services we provide to our patients since the mid-to-late“80’s.  Check out our“Before and Afters” to see just a small amount of the great Orthodontic results we have acheived!  (Again..)
